Vinoteq x Artists' Dover: Festive Wine Tasting & Watercolour Painting Night

Join us for a special festive collaboration between Vinoteq and Artists' Dover - an evening of curated wine tasting paired with relaxed, self-paced watercolour painting inspired by the landscapes and atmosphere of the featured wine region.

Across 2.5 hours, you will enjoy:

• A tasting of four wines (75ml tasting glasses) from a carefully selected region
• A short introduction to the wine region and the basics of wine tasting, led by Vinoteq
• A playful aroma-guessing quiz using real aroma bottles (with a prize for the winner)
• A relaxed watercolour session where you can paint scenes or colours inspired by the region
• Festive jazz playing throughout the evening
• The option to purchase your favourite wines after the tasting

All painting materials are provided and no experience is needed. This is a gentle, atmospheric evening designed for unwinding, exploring beautiful wines, and letting your creativity flow at your own pace.

Christmas Candle and Candle Holder Painting

Step into the festive season with a calm, cosy creative session at Artists’ Dover.
In this Christmas workshop, you will hand-paint your own decorative tapered candle and matching wooden candle holder, choosing from a range of seasonal designs and colours. No experience is needed. This is a relaxed, peaceful session suitable for all abilities.

Enjoy complimentary mulled wine, gentle jazz Christmas music and the warmth of the studio as you take a quiet moment for yourself and create something beautiful to take home.

What’s included:
• One tapered candle
• One wooden candle holder
• Specialist candle-safe paints and acrylic paints
• Brushes, palettes and all materials

This session lasts around 1 hour 30 minutes.

Home Ed Arts & Crafts Club (Drop-In Session)

A relaxed, child-led arts and crafts space designed especially for home educated children to explore, create and express themselves freely. There is no formal teaching or step-by-step activity. Children can choose from a range of materials and make whatever inspires them on the day.

• All basic craft materials are provided
• No set theme, no pressure, just making and imagination

Age groups and prices:
• Ages 5–12: £5 per child
• Ages 13–16: £7 per young person
• Sibling discount available on request

Parents and carers:
Adults must stay in the studio during the session. You are welcome to relax, read or chat quietly while the children create. We have a small kitchenette with a kettle, microwave and fridge, so feel free to bring tea, snacks or lunch.

Hire our light, airy community studio to host your own creative workshop or class. You keep 100% of your ticket sales and can run as many activities as you wish within your booked time.

Booking includes use of the available tables (3 tables at 6ft x 2ft), chairs (10-12), basic kitchenette (sink, fridge, microwave) and toilet. Please note that you will need to bring your own workshop/class materials and if your class includes drinks/refreshments, you must also provide these. All house materials and refreshments are for house workshops and classes.

We had such a lovely evening at the Christmas Candle painting workshop. Zeeana is so warm and welcoming, and the whole evening mirrored that. From the supplies, music, mulled wine, everything was such a magical touch! I could’ve stayed for another few hours! Thankyou!

I don't know where to start. I only discovered Artists' Dover a short time ago but I can honestly say I've found somewhere I'll be coming back to again and again.

If you're looking to connect with lovely people (and Zee is certainly one of them!), indulge your creativity or just carve a moment for yourself out of your busy schedule, look no further! Artists' Dover feels like a small haven. You'll be warmly welcomed and you'll probably be back (like me!)

I did the tea & paint today. It was incredible value for money (all supplies included) and such a relaxing thing to do on a Sunday!
